The attitudes of people are changing all over the world. Hope is beginning to persevere beyond the lamentation of the mass media, who continue to remind us of the catastrophe the very rich are suffering. I would suggest suffering is an oxymoron for the very rich. Perhaps their suffering is based on the shame they feel for the poorest of the poor who know nothing but suffering.
People are beginning to find creative ways to make new models of community work in many places. Giving up the need to be independent individualists, the world community will evolve in new directions for peace, respect and dignity for all who dwell with us here on earth.
To understand the world often one must look from the bottom up. We are who we are by how we treat the weakest, vulnerable, and voiceless amongst us.
